DETAILS
Any Limited Company, Partnership, or individual that has any employees which are not the Owner(s) or partners of the company (in the case of a Limited company where the owner(s) are the only employees and have less than 50% of the issued share capital) must have Employers Liability insurance by law.
If an employee is injured or dies whilst carrying out work on your behalf, or if you are being sued by an employee or previous employee of your company who has suffered an injury whilst employed by you, your policy will indemnify you for any compensation due as a result of the injury, including any legal defence costs incurred in defending a claim against you, providing the insurer and/or court is satisfied that you are partly or wholly responsible for the circumstances leading up to the injury or death occurring.

Up to £10 Million per claim and in total per event involving more than 1 employee.
